My sweet friend, Emily told me about me about their experience seeing a chiropractor along with taking vitamins and supplements.  Emily's family has been sick free since they started this routine.  Jason and I decided last night to give this a shot.  I made an appointment for Lexi to get adjusted this afternoon.  Luckily there was time for me also!  We both met with the doctor and watched each other get "adjusted."  Lexi did SO well!  We are praying our experience is like Emily's.  We are fighting this flu and focusing on wellness!!  Emily gave us a lot of suggestions for natural supplements that work for her family.  Lexi is currently drinking immune support tea.  She's having a hard time getting it down, but it helps Emily's family when they are sick so I hope it works for Lexi too!

kindergarten boxcar parade

Well, everyone was healthy until Lexi got the flu and I got pneumonia.  Needless to say, it's been a rough week...BUT, we are better again and for the most part back to normal.  Jason, Lexi and I all worked together on this and we think it turned out great!  All the boxcars were unique and wonderful!  The parade was wonderful...it should have been televised!!

daddy/daughter dance

I have some catching up to do on the blog, but I wanted to write tonight while my feelings and emotions are raw... About a month ago we received an email about the daddy/daughter dance tonight.  Jason attached the flyer and forwarded it to me saying, "I have to work."  I frowned and moved on.  I didn't think much about it until the other day.  I had an "a-ha" moment and asked Jason if we could ask his dad so Lexi wouldn't miss out on the ball.  Jason called Kevin the next day and I received a text from Jason right after saying, "My dad would be happy to take Lexi."  I was delighted and Lexi was on cloud 9 when I told her Paw Paw wanted to take her to the ball (side note...we didn't tell Lexi about the ball because we didn't think she was going to be able to attend since Jason was out of town). The next day Jason left work early and met us at the mall for a little ball dress shopping.  Lexi danced around the dressing room in about 8 diff...
