Bubbles, Toe Touches, and Monkies!

If you see Lexi these days you will more than likely see her practicing toe touches, blowing bubbles, and with Mia the Monkey or her new Monkey Jack in the Box! She is growing up so fast and we are loving every single moment!

Valentine's Day with Our Little Love Bug

This Valentine's Day was extra special because Jason and I had one more person to show our love for. We celebrated VDay a couple days early because Jason had to leave on a road trip. When Jason arrived home from work there was a note at the door explaining to him that he had two dates that night. For his first date, he was to bring her flowers, pick her up on the back patio, and then escort her upstairs to the daddy/daughter dance. Lexi and Jason enjoyed the dance, I took a couple of pictures and shed a few tears. I love and adore them both...Valentine's Day and everyday. Lexi gave Jason a letter and the hankie I used on our wedding day. I carried the hankie around my flowers as my, "Something Blue." The letter explained that Lexi wants her dad to tuck the hankie away in his travel bag so it is always with him. Then, one day when Lexi finds the man of her dreams like I did, she will ask for the hankie back so she can use it when Jason walks her down the aisle. Lexi gave me a super sweet card and a charm of baby girl shoes to add to my charm bracelet. From mommy and daddy, Lexi got a book, clothes, and her first Anthropologie dress. Valentine's Day was filled with sweets, hugs, kisses, and much love!

Lexi and I love playing the 123...Go game with Aunt Kim's scarves. Lexi gets so excited and she knows when they are going to drop!

Got Bows?

Lexi has quite the collection of hair bows that needed to be organized. I searched for hair bow holders, but they were all very expensive for such a simple idea. So...I went to Hobby Lobby and bought a few supplies to make one myself. It is personalized and made from the heart. Total cost: $7.00.

Laughter

It happened, it really happened! It actually happened 4 times today! Little Miss Lexi LAUGHED! The first one happened this morning after she woke up and we had her in bed with us. She is always talking and smiling, but today there was a little chuckle as well! Throughout the day she laughed three more times. She did not realize she laughed and she is not laughing on purpose, but it did really happen!

Lexi began working on another milestone today...rolling over! Today during "tummy time" she had control and slowly rolled from her tummy to her back. Again, this was not fully on purpose, but she did it and it was controlled. I think she just had enough of tummy time and wanted to return to her back!

She is growing up so fast and we are loving every minute of it! Tonight when we dressed her for bed we realized she will be out of the 3-6 month footed sleepers really soon. She has almost out grown them in length.

I had more pictures developed today and put them in albums. Almost daily I look at her photos and catch myself tearing up and simply being in awe with her. She amazes me every single moment.
